    Before honing his culinary talents in restaurants and institutions throughout New York City, Dmitri Petriakov graduated from The French Culinary Institute in New York City in 2007. Petriakov gained hands on experience throughout school, working as a student chef at L’École and as a chef instructor at Toscana Saporita Cooking School in Viareggio, Italy, enhancing his knowledge of Tuscan culinary techniques and style.

    Following graduation, Petriakov advanced from executive sous chef to chef de cuisine Fire and Oak of Montvale, New Jersey. In 2013, he joined Del Frisco’s Grille in New York City as executive sous chef, training his fellow chefs and front-of-the-house staff on wine and craft beer pairings with menu items before moving on to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in 2014 as Sous Chef.

    In 2015, Dmitri Petriakov joined ESquared Hospitality as Chef de Cuisine at BLT Prime New York. Petriakov works with the hospitality group’s culinary team to helm the kitchen of BLT Prime’s flagship location, while working with local and seasonal ingredients to craft unique and delicious dishes for the weekly blackboard menus.
